Something you're proud of in the past few days.
I had mentioned in an earlier post that I would rather work alone to make sure things get done correctly than have someone help me. I work at an accounting firm. It's tax season which makes it a very stressful time for our office. We have deadlines and never enough time in a day to get everything done like we hope. Except for me. When I started this job a year ago, at the beginning of tax season, I was overloaded with stress. I had never worked in a tax office before and it was a huge change to go from being a nanny to working in an office. (I couldn't get away with wearing sweats to work anymore!)

Last tax season, I would sometimes drive home crying just because it felt great to release some of my stress and tension. Last years tax time, my bosses daughter would come in and help me so I wouldn't fall behind in not only my regular secretary duties but to also keep me on top of my tax season job as well. She was very helpful!

This year I gave myself the challenge to handle this job without needing another person coming in to help. It is now March 17th and I have yet to need someone to come in! I have stayed on track and am great at completing both my secretary and tax season duties!!! Everyday I go home feeling very proud and it feels good to show my boss that I am capable of handling this very tense position alone.
