Today I am 24.
At midnight last night I blew out a candle and like tradition, I made a wish.
When I was 16 I thought I had life figured out, but I was so dumb and very naive. I am in Utah and have been living here for almost 4 years (wow how time flies...). Being away from my family has given me loads of obstacles that I had to learn to handle alone. But I've learned that sometimes you have to be away from the ones you love, but that doesn't mean you love them any less, sometimes it makes you love them more.
So to summarize this last year, I have to say I am old enough now to understand (and admit) that I can see how little I've done in so much time and how much I still have to do in so little time. Live each day as if it were your last. Live for the moment. Never regret decisions you've made along the way. Tell the people you love how much they mean to you. Be examples of Christ everyday because you never know who is watching you and learning from your example. I have had a fun and crazy experiences in these last 24 years so here's to the next 24.
