It's more like, Plastic Doll and the Weird Boy. I started watching this movie a few days ago and finally got around to finishing it. Lars lives next door to his brother and his brothers pregnant wife. One day a huge package comes in the mail for Lars, and it's a plastic life size "doll". He pretends she is a real person and that she is his girlfriend. 
The whole town began to play along as if she were real to make Lars happy. I thought he was playing a joke on everyone until he started talking to her when he was alone.

And then he decides she is dying. The town throws a funeral and that's how it ends. Never explaining why he bought her. If he were really going crazy. But it's a waste of time. I've heard some people like it. If you want to see it, go ahead. But, I warned you!!

hey!! it me Becca, thank for the heads up, i kinda have a thinkg for really bad dumb movies.....I love to watch how horrable they really are!! I might have to try this one while my hubby is out of town!! How are you by the way!!
k i'm not gonna lie we laughed so much on how awkward this movie was and we thought it was great.. just because it was so different and he was serious! we got a kick out of it.. but i can see how someone might not like it
Joe and I rented this movie and we both liked it. We were hysterical at certain parts of it. I thought it was very humorous along with depressing. I thought it was a deep movie that was made to make a person think.... to look at the bigger picture. I too can see why some wouldn't like it though.... Did you go to the Bees Game on Saturday? I missed you.... Our basement is getting finished today, so you guys will have to come down and we can have a party!!!!
I have NEVER even heard of this movie... when means it Sucks!
This movie is fantastic. FANTASTIC. Stop leading people astray.
