NO Parking- Tow Zone

So I have been at my new place for about two months now. And so far two separate people have tried to tell me each town home can only park one car in the garage, one on the drive way and one on the street, the rest should park in the side parking lot that is available for guests. We use our garage for storage so three of us need to park our cars on the street. Sadly for my neighbors, there is no rule from HOA (home owners association) saying how many cars per home can park on the street. So we continue to park there.

Yesterday morning I walk out to go to work and I can't find my car. I started to freak out and I thought they towed my car trying to get even or whatever. I run in to tell my roommates. I was so frazzled. I didn't know what to do, I lived there so they had no right to tow my car. I decide to call my boss to let her know I can't find my car and once I made a report I would get Rachel to drive me to work. Right as my boss answers the phone I am walking outside and I see my car just sitting in a spot right outside my house.

Turns out, I came home from work and parked my car in one spot and then I left again. Well I forgot that when I came home the night before I parked in a different spot. I felt like the biggest nerd yesterday. My boss got a good laugh out of the whole thing. Sometimes I think I would lose my head if it wasn't attached to my body.
